Have you ever had to be rescued? Ever had a problem and needed help? Something you couldn't do without someone to give you a hand? Did you know that every person on earth needs to be rescued? It's true. Every person on earth has had a really bad "fall" and they need Someone who can help them up... 

The Bible also says in Romans 6:23, "The wages (this means payment) for sin is (gulp) death..."

Whoa! Yes, that's right, not only can we not enter God's Home in Heaven because of our sin. Our sin also separates us from God....forever. That's SPIRITUAL death, because God is life. He gives life and without Him, we're dead...on the inside. Then later, when our bodies die, we become separated from God for eternity.

The Bible says that "All have sinned and FALL short of the glory of God."

Why is that such a big deal?

Because God is perfect...holy, and God's home is perfect too. And HE gets to decide who comes there.

God has a standard for being able to come and live in His house and His standard is...

you have to be perfect...no mistakes...no mess ups...no sin.

Uh, oh, "Houston, we have a problem!"

Yep, we sure do, cause NONE of us is perfect, we've all sinned just like the Bible says.
